Commencement Ceremony

Date: June 14, 2024

Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm (Doors open at 5:00 pm)

Place: Chilliwack Coliseum

This is a formal ceremony, sponsored by the staff and administration of G. W. Graham School, for parents and the community.

The Graduation fee of $100.00 covers the cost of the grad gown, cap, tassel, stole, memento, one 5x7 grad photo and diploma, the facility rental and the decorations. Graduates will receive FOUR (4) free tickets for the commencement ceremony. These will be added to students' accounts at no charge.

Things to Know About Commencement

• This is a formal ceremony, so Grads are asked to dress accordingly.
• Please come to the ceremony already dressed in your grad gown with appropriate formal dress underneath. Gowns must be work throughout the entire ceremony.

Grad Banquet and Dance (Prom)

Date: June 26, 2024

Time: 3:00pm - 10:30pm

Place: The Copper Room, Harrison Hot Springs 

Cost: To be announced (includes transportation, dinner and dancing)

Tickets: $105.00 per person

Banquet and Dance Guest Pass Form will be available for students in the new year

As the Banquet and Dance is the culminating social event of the grade 12 year, school administration has a responsibility to ensure that all guests in attendance will conduct themselves appropriately, be respectful to all other graduates and guests, and comply with requests/follow direction from school staff. 

Please note:

• All guests must be a secondary student (grades 10-12) from the Chilliwack School District. 
• All guests will be required to have a character reference from an SD#33 school principal or vice-principal. 
• For all grad functions outside of the City of Chilliwack, transportation will be provided by the School District, and it is expected that the guest will use the provided transportation.

The Banquet and Dance is a formal event where students get to dress up and spend a very memorable evening together. Grads will share in a gourmet buffet dinner. There will be speeches (short ones), and then Grads dance the night away.

Dry Grad

Things to Know About Dry Grad

• Dress comfortably
• Remember to bring your tickets to get into the event
• Guest from outside of the Chilliwack School District ARE ALLOWED to attend
• Parents are NOT ALLOWED to come as a guest
• No in & out privileges, once you are in the door, you are in for the night unless you are going home
• No large bags or backpacks - all bags and purses will be searched
