BC Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood) / 2023 Graduation Requirement
80 credits (minimum) over Grade 10, 11, and 12 to Graduate
Student must have:
- 52 credits (minimum) from required courses.
- 28 credits (minimum) from elective courses.
- Of the 80 credits required to graduate, at least 4 credits must have an Indigenous focus.
- At GW Graham Secondary, students meet this requirement through English First Peoples 11*.
- Student coming from another school will have other course options to meet this requirement.
- Three (3) ministry designed assessments: Numeracy 10, Literacy 10, and Literacy 12.
EXTERNAL COURSE CREDITS
Students are able to earn credit for accomplishments outside of the regular classroom setting. Examples are: Young Drivers Certificate, Bronze Cross, Royal Conservatory of Music, and BC Rep Sports Teams.
